Показано, что молекулярными мишенями для HOCl в гидролизате M. edulis являются остатки метионина, гистидина и NH2-группы аминокислот, а также меланоидины, обеспечивающие антиоксидантный эффект гидиролизата M. edulis, что продемонстрировано в модельной системе с эритроцитами. Так, гидролизат M. edulis в концентрации 0.05—0.25 об.% дозозависимым образом ингибировал гемолиз, инициированный внесением HOCl (200 мкМ) в суспензию эритроцитов, а в концентрации 0.5 об.% полностью препятствовал HOCl-индуцированному гемолизу. При более высоких концентрациях (10 об.%) гидролизат M. edulis проявлял защитный эффект также от кислотного гемолиза. Показано, что гидролизат M. edulis наряду с антиоксидантным действием может выступать в качестве биодоступного препарата для профилактики гемолиза различной этиологии. </p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Using surface-enhanced Raman and infrared spectroscopy, the composition of blue mussel Mytilus edulis (M. edulis) acid hydrolysate after modification with HOCl has been characterized. It has been shown that  the molecular targets for HOCl in M. edulis hydrolysate are methionine, histidine and NH2-group amino acid residues, as well as melanoidins, that provide the antioxidant effect of M. edulis hydrolysate, which is demonstrated in a model system with erythrocytes.
