Обнаружено, что тимохинон характеризуется более выраженным токсическим действием по сравнению с 1,4-бензохиноном и 2,3,5-триметил- 1,4-бензохиноном. Показано, что при действии тимохинона наблюдаются снижение митохондриального потенциала и высвобождение цитохрома с из митохондрий, что свидетельствует об активации программируемой гибели опухолевых клеток по митохондриально-опосредованному пути. Полученные результаты указывают на перспективность применения метода спектроскопии комбинационного рассеяния света в исследовании программируемой гибели клеток.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The mechanisms of 2-isopropyl-5-methyl-1,4-benzoquinone (thymoquinone) action on human larynx carcinoma cells of the HEp-2 line were studied using methods of fluorescence assay and Raman spectroscopy. It was found that thymoquinone has a more pronounced toxic effect compared to 1,4-benzoquinone and 2,3,5-trimethyl-1,4-benzoquinone. A decrease of the mitochondrial potential and the release of cytochrome c from the mitochondria are observed under the action of thymoquinone, which indicates the activation of apoptosis of the tumor cells along the mitochondrial-mediated pathway.
